i-FILTER® Browser & Cloud Now Available on
PioneerVC xSync for Effective ICT Use in Classrooms

TOKYO, Japan (April 4, 2016) – Digital Arts Inc. (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan; CEO: Toshio Dogu; hereinafter called Digital Arts; Code 2326), a leading provider of information security software, announced that it will make the web filter database used in its web filtering application i-FILTER Browser & Cloud compatible with the xSync browser function. xSync is a learning tool provided by PioneerVC Corporation (headquartered in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, Japan; CEO: Kiyoshi Hara; hereinafter called PioneerVC) supporting distance and interactive learning. This web filtering option will be available in June 2016.

As the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology promotes the use of ICT in education, municipalities are striving to incorporate ICT in the classrooms. Aside from using tablets in lectures, many schools are also taking these devices outside the school for off-campus learning or study at home. It is very likely that diverse learning opportunities using the internet will increase in the future. This also raises the need for proper web filtering in order to bring a safe cyber environment to students who may not always be under the supervision of parents and school personnel.
