i-FILTER® and m-FILTER® cloud service "DigitalArts@Cloud" begins services
~The only cloud service that can simultaneously implement countermeasures against information leaks from inside and defend against targeted attacks from the outside via e-mail and internet~

TOKYO, Japan (April 18, 2018) – Digital Arts Inc. (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan, CEO: Toshio Dogu, hereinafter referred to as “Digital Arts”, Code 2326), a leading provider of information security software, will begin the retail sales of DigitalArts@Cloud on May 9. The cloud service will allow users to simultaneously implement countermeasures against targeted attacks from the outside and information leaks from inside, as part of i-FILTER web security and m-FILTER e-mail security.

Until now, many security countermeasures that were introduced were the on-premises types, and customers had no choice but to handle building, managing and operations themselves. For this reason, it was a problem for companies and government agencies to find personnel to build and maintain the servers, which would create a burden in the form of management expenses, and in server maintenance. In response to this, Digital Arts now offers DigitalArts@Cloud as a cloud-based service that can simultaneously implement countermeasures against external attacks, including targeted attacks, and countermeasures against information leaks from the inside via the internet and e-mail.

Moreover, as the needs of companies and government agencies wanting to adopt cloud services not only for business applications but also for security measures increase, we aim to reduce the man-hours required for infrastructure building and management by introducing DigitalArts@Cloud. Digital Arts will be responsible for the infrastructure operation that requires expert knowledge, and the service will realize tight security measures.

DigitalArts@Cloud includes the latest internet security i-FILTER Ver. 10 and e-mail security m-FILTER Ver. 5, and by introducing both products as a set, both internet and e-mail malware infection and data leaks are covered, making a more secure internet and e-mail experience a reality. Also, as the only cloud service which can implement both externally targeted attack countermeasures and internal information leak countermeasures it is possible to reduce the cost of defending the system by implementing our cloud services instead of implementing multiple defenses by combining multiple security products and services, reducing overall investment and managing man-hours.

In addition, DigitalArts@Cloud is equipped with an “Integrated Simple Setting Screen” and “Integrated Report Screen” as new standard functions. In the Integrated Simple Setting Screen, the screen design is such that the administrator can set the policy and other options with only simple operations, and it can be used immediately after implementation. The “Integrated Report Screen” integrates and analyzes logs of i-FILTER@Cloud and m-FILTER@Cloud and reports the findings in a way that allows the user to track the infection route of malware and other unauthorized access.

At Digital Arts we’re striving to continue providing a wider range of defenses and response solutions against external targeting attacks and information leaks from the inside, both of which will become increasingly threatening in the future. We also want to provide peace of mind and safety for the Internet society in the future and continue to aim for further improvement toward our product goals.
