SIOS Technology, Inc. adopts m-FILTER@Cloud as a solution
against misdirected e-mails and external attacks
Flexible operating policy strengthens e-mail security and adds convenience

Information security solution provider Digital Arts Inc. (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan, CEO: Toshio Dogu, hereinafter referred to as "Digital Arts", Code 2326) is happy to announce that system and software planning, development, sales and support firm SIOS Technology (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan, CEO: Nobuo Kita, hereinafter referred to as "SIOS Technology) has adopted m-FILTER@Cloud, an e-mail security service for business and government agencies aimed at preventing e-mail based internal information leaks and external attacks.

SIOS Technology excels in areas of Linux like OSS or the cloud, and have moved to be early adopters in using Google's G Suite to implement a cloud-based IT environment within the company. However for external communications and information exchanges the company primarily uses e-mail, thus creating a need for e-mail security measures such as misdirected e-mail prevention and external attack protection to be conducted at the discretion of employees.

The company began considering using m-FILTER@Cloud after a cloud security product DigitalArts@Cloud was released in May of 2018. It was seen that labor costs could be greatly reduced by switching to a system-based solution. Other merits included allowing the company to enact a flexible security policy without having to give up convenience, not placing an excessive burden on the information systems department as well as functioning as a solution for misdirected e-mails and external attacks. These could all be achieved through implementing a single solution, and has been extremely positive for the company so far.

Endorsement

We have received the following endorsement from SIOS Technology, which represents the SIOS Group.

Company Director and Executive Vice President Atsushi Otsuka, Information Systems Department, SIOS Corporation

SIOS Corporation and SIOS Technology have adopted Digital Arts' m-FILTER@Cloud solution because of how well it works in conjunction with Google's G Suite e-mail system. For our company, each department has different demands, and m-FILTER@Cloud's flexibility to meet those demands has been very well received. Thanks to its introduction, the time and extra work previously taken to manually encrypt files has been reduced while also reducing the risk of information leaks via e-mail. We look forward to the continued development of Digital Arts' products and services in the future.
