— the second time for its password-less file encryption, open status tracking, and remote deletion features —

Information security solutions provider Digital Arts Inc. (headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan; CEO: Toshio Dogu; hereinafter referred to as "Digital Arts"; Code 2326) is pleased to announce that its file security product FinalCode won the overall grand prix in the Asp/SaaS Category for Support Services at the 16th Aspic IoT, AI, and Cloud Awards 2022 held by Japan Cloud Industry Association (ASPIC; headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Chairperson: Teruyoshi Kawai).

FinalCode Wins Overall Grand Prix in the Asp/SaaS Category for Support Services

FinalCode won the overall grand prix in the Asp/SaaS Category for Support Services, receiving high praise as the most excellent among the services selected. This is the second time FinalCode has won the overall grand prix*, with the 12th award in 2018 being the first.

FinalCode is an IRM (Information Resource Management) product, which is software that encrypts document files, restricts viewing and editing, and obtains opening and operation histories. Because who can view files and for how long can be completely restricted, even if the files are leaked, the contained information will not be. Furthermore, it is possible to remotely change permissions and delete files in bulk at any time. It is also possible to manage files after they have left users’ hands. Users are not only able to protect their important information, but are also freed from the time and effort required for file management, which greatly contributes to accelerating the business of the companies that have adopted the system. This award was achieved because FinalCode is an innovative product that goes beyond mere encryption.

Digital Arts will continue to enhance the feature sets of FinalCode as a countermeasure against cyberattacks and internal information leaks, and will contribute to improving operational efficiency and ensuring the safety of important and confidential files at more companies in the future.
