Information security solutions provider Digital Arts Inc. Digital Arts' i-FILTER@Cloud offers whitelisting that allows access only to safe websites

Cyberattacks have been increasing and growing in sophistication, and malware entry routes have also been diversifying. Digital Arts provides i-FILTER@Cloud as a countermeasure against attacks via the internet, one entry point for malware. i-FILTER@Cloud features a database covering searchable URLs in Japan that blocks access to dangerous websites and unknown threats, creating a whitelist in which only websites that Digital Arts has determined to be safe can be accessed.

Otsuka Corporation to Launch i-FILTER@Cloud Operation Support Service

Digital Arts distributor Otsuka Corporation began offering their i-FILTER@Cloud Operation Support Service on December 1. The i-FILTER@Cloud Operation Support Service includes Providing Usage Rights Service to use i-FILTER@Cloud, Alert Notification Service to notify alerts when accessing dangerous websites, etc., Alert Analysis Report Service to analyze such alerts, and Inquiry Support Service.

i-FILTER@Cloud blocks access to dangerous websites and unknown threats, allowing users to work safely via the Internet without having to worry, even in the teleworking environment without UTM (Unified Threat Management).

When an incident is detected, users are given information on how to respond. The Digital Arts Security Research Lab*1 automatically examines the access logs of service subscribers on behalf of them and notifies them of incidents on their network. Specifically, in addition to incident dates and times, accessed URLs, and other details, it contains detailed investigation results including the number of affected users and their names, devices that attempted to access the URLs, access status (accessible or blocked), and processes (programs that communicated), and future steps to take such as malware scans and interviews with affected users.

In addition, Otsuka Corporation's own security cloud service will be provided in combination with call center support for inquiries about controls, operation, failures, and failure causes isolation.
Through this collaboration with Otsuka Corporation, Digital Arts aims to provide security measures to even more customers.
